Colours
Choosing colours for you artwork...

Common mistakes for designers is to assume that specific colours suit a specific mood.
Love - Red
Mystery - Black
Drama - Purple
Happy - Yellow
But this is not so.
There are many types of depths to colours, there are many types of reds and many types of yellows, and so to choose one to suit your poster is a very delicate choice.
Say you are creating a graphic with a cheerful disposition, looking at the obvious colour moods above, you would not choose purple.
However if you used [this] purple, it would be MORE than suitable to use it, not only adding a sense of uniqueness but not using yellow, which is an obvious choice.
